A Few Pictures from the last 4 months

The girls slept for 6 hours and 50 min. last night! I might survive motherhood after all. Here are a few pictures from the last few months. It has gone by so fast--it all seems like a blur. I love being a mother, despite being tired all the time. Thankfully, I have had a lot of help from family and my visiting teacher. There have been very few days when someone has not been able to help me out for at least an hour or two.

Brian is such a good dad! He helps as much as he can when he's home and he helps me during the nights on Fridays and Saturdays. He also gives the girls their baths and cuts their nails (I am too afraid that I'll make them bleed). He can also get them to talk and laugh a lot more than I can.

My Facebook account has been hacked!

For all of you who are friends of mine on Facebook, you probably got a strange email request from my facebook account. I DID NOT SEND IT! It appears someone has hacked into my facebook and hotmail account and changed my password so I can't get on them. I am trying to get everything restored and then of course I will change it all. Brian and I are fine. Other than being tired all the time, the pregnancy is going really well. The babies are very healthy and so far they show no signs of wanting to come too early. And, we are not in any financial trouble at all (thank goodness). Hopefully, whoever hacked my accounts won't be able to get too much info about me.

Boring January

It seems like everyone has slowed down on the blogging front. I was never very good at it—but it seems like there isn’t much to write about. It is cold here in Utah and that is depressing to me. I can’t wait for it to be spring.

So far everything seems to be going ok with our babies. At our last ultra-sound they told us they were pretty sure they are girls. I was just a few days short of 16 weeks so they could have made a mistake. I hope they didn’t. I have always wanted both boys and girls--but ever since they told me they were girls I have named them and picked out all sorts of pink things for them. I have also planned out a very pink nursery and I kind of have my heart set on it now.

Last night I started to worry about my babies. I was worried that maybe they weren’t girls and then I was wondering what I would name them if they weren’t. I don’t have a single boy's name picked out that I really love (except for names that my family has already used.) Then I began to worry about baby B. At our last ultra-sound they found a cyst on her brain. I wasn’t worried at the time. One of my sister’s babies’s had one and it went away. Our doctor told us not to worry—that it was really rare for it to be anything significant. But last night I just started to worry that maybe this was one of the rare cases. I am really grateful that I go to the doctor every two weeks. I don’t know how people who don’t can stand it. It calms me down so much to see them on the ultra-sound. Last time it was fun to watch them suck their thumbs and move around. They are very active babies. I keep telling them they have to wait until June to come—they can’t come any earlier than that.

I have also become very discontent with my job lately. I have been working at the same community for almost 5 years and I used to love it. Ever since my old management company sold us I have been unhappy. For a while it was ok, but it seems like everyday I am told to do something that is either a complete waste of time or unethical. So far I have been able to skirt around doing the things I feel are unethical but I don’t think I will be able to get around it much longer. If I wasn’t expecting I would go find another job. Right now Brian and I are trying to get insurance through his job so I can quit. I can’t wait until that day comes! Hopefully, everything will be taken care of by the end of February and then I can get my house ready for the babies (before I get too big to do anything).

Mele Kalikimaka-a little late

Brian and I went to Hawaii (the big island) with my brother and his family (and my mom) for Christmas. We had a wonderful time. It was great to enjoy the warm weather and to get away from all the snow. Our first full day was on Sunday, so we went to church and then went to see the Kona temple. Other than that we just walked around near our resort. On Monday we got up early to go swim with the dolphins. I was so excited--it was the #1 thing I wanted to do while we were there. However, before we even got off the boat to swim I was losing my breakfast over the side of the boat. Anyway, I got off the boat for a few minutes but I was so sick that I had to get out. I spent almost the entire 4 hours either laying down or throwing up. After that I didn't do anymore "water" activities, except for wading in the water at the beach a little bit. One day Brian and my brother went on a private kayaking/snorkeling tour and had a great experience. Anyway, here are a few pics from our awesome vacation. We hope to go on one more trip before the babies are born--but if we don't this was a great "babymoon."

Hapuna Beach,it was rated in the top 10 if best beaches in the USA, and I would have to agree-it was really nice.

I don't know the name of this resort--but Brian humored me and we "snuck" in like we were guest there so I could use their restrooms, instead of having to use the nasty public bathrooms down the beach a little bit. I made him take a picture because their bathrooms were the nicest public bathrooms I have ever been in.
